Panam Sports invites all athletes and coaches of member National Olympic Committees to participate in this interesting webinar whose purpose is to guide them in the mental, physical and emotional preparation for major competitions, with a special focus on youth and junior athletes. Next July 9th at 6:00 pm Eastern Time, an important Webinar organized by Panam Sports, the Training Commission of our organization and the Coaches Association of Canada will take place in the framework of the prelude to what will be the II ASU 2025 Pan American Junior Games.
With a special focus on youth and junior athletes of the continent, this course will be held with the objective of preparing in the best way the new generations of athletes who will compete in major sporting events.
“It is a very valuable opportunity for our young athletes and their coaches to learn more about the physical, mental and emotional preparation they face when competing in major sporting events. The objective here is to educate them and provide them with recommendations and tools to be able to face these challenges in the best way possible. We invite the whole Panamerican family to participate in this event”, said Jimena Saldaña, Panam Sports General Secretary.
The webinar will be hosted by leading physician Shaunna Taylor and will address key topics such as mental preparation, stress management, recovery strategies, and how coaches and athletes can collaborate to deal with pressure and pre-competition challenges during the Asunción 2025 Pan American Junior Games and future events.
It will last 2 hours, will have simultaneous translation and will be conducted through the Panam Sports Academy zoom platform.
