The Albicelestes have three nominations in sports where they have always been protagonists: Rugby 7s, Field Hockey, and 3×3 Basketball. However, Brazil also has its share, with the excellent performance of its national team in handball and Team USA in beach volleyball. Who will win? Only time and you, the sports fans, will tell.

The team sports at ASU 2025 were extremely attractive. The competition was of a high standard, but in most of them, the supremacy of those we are used to seeing shine in these continental events was evident.

The statistics don’t lie. Argentina has historically been a leader in several sports, so it’s no surprise that Argentina has three of the five nominations for Best Team.

The Albicelestes dominated their rivals, extending their streak of victories and medals in Rugby 7s, Hockey, and 3×3 Basketball.

Below, we show you why these five teams were nominated for the Panam Sports Awards so that you can learn about their achievements and decide how to vote in this closely contested competition.
