Athletes throughout the continent are invited to join the Panam Sports Athlete Commission for an important virtual seminar leading up to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games this July.

The Athletes of the Americas Virtual Seminar will take place this Thursday, July 1 between 4 – 5:30pm ET and will cover several important topics as athletes prepare for the world’s biggest sporting event.

The athlete community will receive a complete update on the most relevant topics in the Olympic Movement to the region. This seminar will be led by the Panam Sports Athlete Commission and its President Aliann Pompey, including topics such as Agenda 2020+5, Rule 40 & 50, Doping controls, Mental Health practices and beyond.

After the seminar concludes, Aliann Pompey will lead an exclusive panel discussion with athlete legends throughout the continent recapping the important topics covered in the seminar.

In the season leading up to Tokyo 2020, Briana set three Jamaica U-20 records in 6 days – 11.01, 10.98 and the new record of 10.97. Most recently, Briana finished 4th at the Jamaican Olympic trials and earned a spot to Tokyo in the 4x100m.
