The registration process for national and international media closes tonight following a 15-day extension by the Organizing Committee.

Agencies that have yet to apply for accreditation have until 11:59 p.m. (GMT-5) on September 15 to confirm their participation in this sporting event.

CALI, COLOMBIA (September 15, 2021) — The expectations and interest in the first Junior Pan American Games of Cali-Valle 2021 continue to grow among athletes, media and the entirety of Colombia as the Games rapidly approach.

With just 71 days remaining until the Opening Ceremony, the first phase of the media accreditation process closes today after a 15-day extension requested by National Olympic Committees and international media.

A few days ago, Panam Sports officially opened the television rights for this continental event which considerably increased media interest in covering the Games.

Today marks the final opportunity for both Colombian and international media to request accreditation. The application portal will close today, Wednesday, September 15 at 11:59 p.m. local time (GMT-5) and agencies will no longer be able to register to cover the event after this deadline.

Panam Sports invites all media agencies that have not yet been accredited to register and request their desired number of accreditations by following the instructions available at the following link:

To successfully complete the application process, one must provide the following information and documents:

  • Basic contact information such as your name, address and telephone number
  • Authorization letter from the National Olympic Committee for international media agencies
  • A certificate of existence and legal representation or letter from the Director of the agency for media agencies in Colombia
  • The number of accreditations requested to cover the Games

The Organizing Committee will review the applications once they have all been submitted and will send an official approval to the media to continue with the second phase of the process.
