The streaming service is offering nine daily live signals and has already reached more than 700,000 subscribers and millions of viewers throughout the competitions at the Santiago 2023 Pan American Games.

A complete success for an OTT platform that was created for Lima 2019 and today has become the best option for sports fans around the world to follow the action of this continental sports celebration.

SANTIAGO, CHILE (October 28, 2023) — With the Santiago 2023 Pan American Games reaching the halfway point, the summary of the first week of this great sporting event is extremely positive. There are world-class competitions, stadiums and venues are full and the response from the worldwide streaming and TV audience has been truly admirable.

This response has been clearly evident on the Panam Sports Channel, the streaming channel of the Pan American Sports Organization, which has seen a great increase in followers throughout the Americas and the world.

Panam Sports President Neven Ilic bet big on the Panam Sports Channel, investing in equipment and technology to showcase the Santiago 2023 Pan American Games for free across the world, ensuring that no country on the continent would be left without the option to watch the competitions live.

And his bet paid off with extremely positive audience results. The channel already has more than 750,000 subscribers and millions of views on each of the nine live signals available to sport fans around the world.

“We are halfway through the Pan American Games, and we are very happy with what is happening at Santiago 2023. The athletes are happy, the response from the public that has packed the venues has been spectacular, and the numbers from the Panam Sports Channel and of our multimedia in general, are surprising. I have asked my team to make every effort to ensure that the Games reach everyone, so that no one is left without the possibility of being informed and enjoying this sports festival. And I think that has been more than fulfilled,” said Panam Sports President Neven Ilic.

“The perception of the Games by the public, the media and the athletes is truly spectacular. And that is evident in the environment and also with the results of our platforms available to people. Without a doubt, there will be a before and after following Santiago 2023, with a great legacy for Chileans, not only in terms of infrastructure, but also in mentality and soul,” said Alejandro Goycoolea, Communications Director of Panam Sports.
