“We celebrate this special day by honoring fathers on their day, since we are an inclusive commission. For us, men are just as important as women, since each brings different perspectives and both complement each other in all aspects of life. Furthermore, fathers—alongside mothers—are the ones who shape the human beings of the future, and for us, it is a true pleasure to celebrate this day,” said Santaella, general secretary of the COV.
During the gathering, gifts were also given to fathers on their special day, along with raffles and a festive atmosphere, to honor those men who dedicate their lives to raising good people.
The Women’s Commission not only celebrates women in sports but also includes men in the Father’s Day celebration and works tirelessly for gender equality, uniting both sexes toward a common goal: achieving equality in all areas.
